East Stroudsburg has a nice suburban feel to it. It's a great place to let kids go out on the street and simply explore! One of my favorite spots in East Stroudsburg is a restaurant called Sarah Street Grill. Coming in after a long day of working and simply enjoying watching some sports with some friends. If you're looking for a place to raise your family, East Stroudsburg is the place for you!
A lot of outdoor activities, such as hiking, swimming, snowboarding. Great place to visit especially in the summer time!
As a resident I enjoy living here. It’s quiet, safe, and peaceful. I feel closer to nature. It's more diverse than you would think and there's a handful of restaurants to chose from. Nightlife is nearly nonexistent unless you go over to the neighboring towns. Twenty-four hour stores are quite rare. Unless you live in the downtown area you will need a car to travel to school, work, and shop. People are friendly and we have nearby attractions for families. The schools are great. While the housing is affordable there's limited jobs in town. You will need to commute for greater Job opportunities. Overall this place is a great spot to live in.
