We have lived in East Rochester for five years and love it. It is a small community and we're renting at the edge of town. Everything is close, whether in town, or via Route 490 that runs past the village. Anything you need is nearby, rent is definitely reasonable for New York state. And Leo's Bakery....reason enough to live here!

Classic small town. Helpful neighbors , quiet streets. Awesome for young families. Half hour to the city for nightlife and entertainment, half hour to easy country living.
Love it. It’s a great small community. Wouldn’t want to raise my kids anywhere else. Great school district. Can get to any major shopping center within 15minutes due to super close proximity to expressways.
