Quiet, boring, strangely self congratulatory. For some reason they celebrate "East Petersburg Days" every summer. Considering it's a small town of mostly corn fields and cow manure, I'm not sure what there is to celebrate. Still, it's pretty central between Lancaster and Harrisburg so it works.
