I have lived in East Moline for about 6 years with my family. In the area that we live in we are close to the public elementary and middle school. In the whole East Moline there are about 3 elementary schools and only one middle school. Then there is one big high school. The high school accommodates to over 3 other small cities around here.
Down Town is filled with small businesses from different cultures. In fact the whole city is filled with small businesses of all types. There are a few parks around town that children can play.
As for safety I say that it is safe I have not had to deal with any kidnappings or things like that. One thing I have to say is that near the middle school neighborhood there has been many cases of stray animals. There have been a few attacks with dogs since many people own pets.

23rd Avenue in east moline is outdated, and over utilized, it could stand to be updated with the amount of traffic that move through the area. Also, East Moline claims to be one of the quad cities but it is hardly a town much less a city and I would like to see it change it's slogan.
East Moline is located within the Quad Cities area, which spans Illinois and Iowa along the Mississippi River. There is a helpful, family-oriented small town atmosphere with access to many of the amenities offered by a larger city. There are many festivals and celebrations throughout the year celebrating music, food, and culture. There are excellent hospitals and schools. Innovative restaurants and cultural, art, and museum attractions.
