East Lansing is beautiful college town! It is diverse, vibrant and active! Family friendly with great public schools and a booming real estate market, East Lansing is a wonderful place to live.

East Lansing and Michigan State University is such a wonderful location! Michigan State University is at capacity with enrollment and trying to find ways to accommodate incoming students. Because of this East Lansing has seen a multi million dollar boom in development in the area for housing which is both bad and great. We have many wonderful live acts, politicians and world renowned individuals come to the University to speak. EL is the place to live!
Review East Lansing
East Lansing is definitely a college town! There are a lot of people, from all different backgrounds, and many different countries. It is a great place to meet new people wherever you go. There's great restaurants and two close three close malls. Most people are young and friendly. It's a pretty safe place. Nightlife is great, if you like a lot of people! The down size would probably be the cost of living. Rent prices are spiked because they know you need living and especially close to campus. CATA makes commuting easy, but if you live in certain places sometimes the buses get full and drive right by. I've had to get to the bus stop an hour before my class starts because I've had five buses pass me. It's a risk you'll have to take, but the drivers are usually very friendly.
This town is the most diverse place on earth! There are people from all walks of life. They are nice everywhere. The only thing, but I think this is everywhere, they act like they can't drive from time to time. As for location, there are restaurants, hangout spots, and bars! Not to mention how everything is only ever 20 minutes tops, at the most, away from you when you live in Lansing. Plenty of jobs, plenty of people, plenty of fun. It's not the city and its not the country. Check out the scenery on campus! It's my favorite place to be during autumn.
