East Greenbush Reviews
Rating 3.9 out of 5 29 reviews
East Greenbush is full of hardworking people that support each other, especially in times of hardships! Covid-19 was no exception, as the schools offered free lunch for kids and emotional support from the entire staff. The schools in our district offer an abundance of after-school activities such as clubs and sports. I love art and in the future, I hope to accomplish my dream of becoming an independent artist, using the skills I picked up along the way. Learning new art techniques every day has helped me to be nominated in numerous art shows, showcasing my talent to fellow artists. Another fun activity I was able to do was Girl Scouts where I've made some of my best friends. More recently I have started volunteering at my local library, helping the staff in the children's area. The town would only need more restaurants and recreational facilities. Whether you're looking to experience something new or find your dream job, there is always something for everyone here in East Greenbush!
This is a top-notch place to live. All within a few minutes of Albany and access to activities in Schenectady, Troy, and Adirondack areas and beyond. It is small and safe. This suburban town rolls up by 9:00 PM so look to Albany for recreation in the evenings. Good shopping for groceries, local venues, and great parks for children/adults. Great school district! Close to many events in Capitol District. Safe neighborhoods and town parks nearby.
With a great combination of rural and city living available, finding your perfect neighborhood is easy in the East Greenbush area. Easy access to highways and local shopping make errands and work commute a breeze. School are top notch and the sports programs offer something for everyone.
