East Grand Forks is a beautiful town. This town is focused on the community and the growth of our children. In the city, there are many parks and recreation areas for outdoor activities with your kids. The community in this area is incredibly supportive and helpful. One will never feel more at home than in East Grand Forks. We are a smaller tight knit community just over the river from Grand Forks, North Dakota, a bigger town and only a short drive away from Fargo, North Dakota. I highly recommend East Grand Forks to any couple or family looking to find their forever home.

East Grand Forks lacks any strong local identity. It is a small town, but one can forget this because it is located exactly next to Grand Forks. And to this larger town, it clings to like a bloodsucking vermin. The people of East Grand Forks go to Grand Forks for everything essentially. There is little to no community formed overall, excepting, perhaps, within smaller circles such as parishes or schools.
I love living in East Grand Forks, MN. There is approximately 7500 people that live in this town. We are connected to Grand Forks, ND by a bridge over the Red River so we are very close to a large city with approximately 55,000 people. It is pretty quiet over here on the "East Side." The school system is phenomenal especially if you have a child with special needs. I live in a neighborhood with friendly families. 3 of the 4 schools were new after the flood in 1997 and they are working on remodeling the High School right now. East Grand Forks has everything a person needs! Love living here!
