East Alton Reviews

This town is filled with mainly white impoverished people. There aren't much problems with gangs, racial wars, nor police brutality. It's a small town with a lot of low end people so the only thing to ever have to worry about it people stealing from you if you leave things out. Other than that, for the most part, people don't bother you in this town.

I've grown up here, it will always be home. But it will also always have racism hiding in the nooks and crannies, poor public schools, and little to nothing to do with in town.
I have lived in East Alton for five years and it has improved in some areas but not all. I will recommend the preschool. It was a wonderful experience for my son but other than that I can't say the school district is the best. The area is mostly houses and a few bars here and there. Not much in growth or opportunity even though we have Olin in our town. It is a relatively save place for kids.
