Eagle Grove has a lot to offer younger couples that are new to the area. For families with children there are parks and great schools. There is also a wonderful out door swimming pool that is open in the summer months. Newly weds and pet owners would likely enjoy the walking paths at the golf course. For those interested in attending college or with children that are venturing off to college for the first time there are some great oppurtunities extremely close to town. Iowa Central Community College has two satellite campuses with in driving distance of Eagle Grove. One in Webster City and one in Fort Dodge. The town is very clean and welcoming. It was a pleasure to visit family there and I am very happy we settled down here. The only thing I would change is that I would like an indoor play area for kids during the winter months.

Eagle Grove is a great town to live in. I love Eagle Grove because everyone is so kind and they listen to your comments. It's a small town of about 3500, they only need some work on the roads but the town is run great by out mayor Sandy McGrath she has been our mayor for the past two years and we haven't had much problems.
After college I would love to come back and work in the Eagle Grove school district. The teachers are nice and it's an over all great place to live.
