Eagan is a growing community that keeps getting better! With its well laid out shopping areas, recreational areas, and overall infrastructure, Eagan is a great place to live! There is a place to visit for every mood: if you want to hang out with friends, there are many parks and the Eagan Outlet Mall is a great place to shop. The Wescott Library is a great place to find books, DVDs, and magazines of different genres. The Eagan Market Fest is another great place to be in the summers, with its fresh produce to live concerts. The people are also really nice! Overall, Eagan is a great place to be!

Moving to Eagan saved my life . Being born into a lower income family has come with the stress of frequent relocating. Growing up as a child I remember not living in the safest of places. Simple things like walking to the park, going on a bike ride, and simply playing with my friends, were all things I was not able to experience because of my parents fear of my safety . To go from this to somewhere I could go out without the worries of my safety was the most amazing thing ever. Upon living here I felt a scene of belonging and comfort like I've never felt before. Though This location has had many benefits its not without its downfalls. For instance I had a few encounters with individuals feeling as if I didn't belong. I ordered an Uber for work when the driver began recording me and refused to take me anywhere because he believed I didn't live of my home. He insisted show him my ID, when I refused he called the police. Eagan is an amazing place to live but not without its downfalls.
Very friendly neighbors and family-friendly places! I really love this neighborhood. There are so many restaurants around the neighborhood and beautiful fields to watch the fireworks.
