I enjoy small town living and to be so close to town with horses in my backyard is even better. We just lost a store that was very helpful to have of you "just needed to run in for one thing." We do still have our grocery store, but most broke go out of town to go grocery shopping. Otherwise we have plenty of restaurants, lodging, and historic landmarks.

Although we do not have social activities here such as a movie theater or mall, we are all close because we have gone from kindergarten all through high school together. Everyone knows everyone, and that makes for life long friends.
There is a lot of community based activities and everyone knows one another. The schools are very small so there are many chances to learn or get extra help if needed.
