Since I have lived in this area, and this house for all of my life i have gotten the chance to see how the community started off and how it has progressed for the good and sometimes bad at times. Overall this community has grown on me the neighbors are very friendly and offer to house sit when you leave your house un attended for for a long period of time, they shovel your driveway when it snows, get your mail, water your plants. All of this was back in the say in the early 2000's. Unfortunatly over time this has changed bot not for the better, the most someone is willing to do is keep an eye on your house from their comfort of their own home. It is still a safe and friendly community, but i guess times just change.

Crime has never really been an issue around here, yes there have been times here and there where a bike has been stolen or cars have been broken into if they were unlocked but every time that has happened the police has been very responsive and gotten to the bottom of the issue and have made sure that it does not happen again.
Algonquin Commons is right by my house, and there are hundreds of stores in there. You can find whatever store you're looking for right on Randall road. Plato's Closet is my personal favorite. Not huge chain, but great prices and service.
