Working in Duncansville

Duncansville is a quiet small town outside of Altoona, Pennsylvania. The beautiful landscape and friendly people help make this area a great place to live. There is an array of small, local businesses and other local quirks that give character to the small town. The safety of the area is top notch with an outstanding local police borough and a state police barracks nearby. The changes I would like to see are more options for nightlife and greater diversity in the future.
It’s a small inviting town with very friendly people. There are lots of small businesses in town and around it. The school district Duncansville is a part of provides excellent education, and there are many close options for private schooling.
I like Duncansville. It is a family friendly community, with very little crime. However, the job outlook isn't very good unless you want a job that is minimum wage or barely over minimum wage.
