Doylestown is a very nice place to live overall. Crime is almost nil, and everyone I've met has been kind and friendly. As in most towns of this size, expect to travel farther for work, shopping, and entertainment. The proximity to SR-21, I-76 and I-77 make the commute relatively painless. It's an acceptable trade-off for quiet living and peace of mind. BTW, Doylestown is 45 min. from Cleveland (at best) and in a different county; so calling it a suburb of that city is a bit of a stretch. Like much of Wayne County, the "flavor" of Doylestown is rural.

Doylestown is a very small and quiet town. There is not much to do in the town; however, travel time to get to larger cities are not a far drive. Doylestown is one of the safest places to live. I graduated with about 110 students. Everyone knows everyone. This is a small, quiet, family friendly town.
It is a very small town where everybody knows each other and neighbors are friends. Several new local businesses are opening 'in town' which will offer residents the opportunity to shop local. There is a weekly produce market available to anyone who wishes to buy fresh produce. Overall, a great town to be a resident and raise your children.
