I have lived and grown up in Doylestown my entire life, it has been great to me! The town has a picturesque setting with an added bit of history (Henry Mercer and John Dyer). There is an abundance of shopping and restaurant options littered throughout downtown and the surrounding area. The schools are great, the housing developments are beautiful, and the people are generally nice. The town also has an added benefit of being in close proximity to Philly, NYC, The Poconos, The Jersey Shore, and more, etc. Also, the town is around the center of Bucks County (it is the county seat after all), just hop on 611 and you can be in pretty much most of the Bucks County towns within 15-20 minutes. Now that I have headed off to College, I could truly sit back and reflect on how much I will miss Doylestown.

Doylestown is a family-oriented area with a high educational system. I would not live here for the rest of my life. I wish Doylestown has a stronger Christian community especially with young adults. As a college student who moved back home during the pandemic, I find it difficult to meet young adults who love the Lord. One perk of Doylestown is that the mountains are an hour and a half drive and the closes beach is also an hour and a half. Doylestown is also an hour away from Philadelphia. Doylestown has great places to eat such as Empanada Mama and Station Tap House. I find that Doylestown is expensive to live in. I am Chinese, and I find that there is not a lot of diversity. However, I do enjoy the hospital network such as Doylestown, Grandview, and Lehigh Valley.
Doylestown has been a wonderful town to grow up in! A little over 30 mins from Philadelphia, Doylestown has easy access to the city but also offers a tight knit community feel. The own is perfect for getting outside and being active; there is plenty of room for biking, walking, visiting the local pool, and fishing at the nearby lake. Doylestown is full of local businesses and other stores such as Starbucks and playa bowls; this creates a perfect mix between small independent owned stores and the essentials. This area is full of new families of all shapes and offers opportunities for great education.
