Dothan is an average southern town in an average southern state; there's not very much to see or do. Local activities such as the National Peanut Festival and Foster Fest are fun to experience, and Dothan's historic downtown district is pleasant and quaint. However, there are not enough businesses to fill the empty store lots in and around town. The standard of living is fairly average, sometimes even low, and the quality of life here is what people make of it. The one true upside to Dothan is how easy it is to get in and around town. Ross Clark Circle will take anyone just about anywhere and town, and multiple highways cut through Dothan. Driving from Dothan to Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, and Louisiana is convenient and uncomplicated.

Love Dothan! It's a small town but not too small where there's nothing to do. All the basic, big box stores are around which makes it not too hard to transition from a big city.
A great place to raise a family. Close to the beach and the city! People are very friendly! If you are looking for a great cost of living there are many options for all types of incomes, having a good variety of restaurants that anyone in the family can pick from is awesome. The health or exercise crowd is growing more and more, giving everyone the great option of a healthy lifestyle. Having an amazing weather is also a great key for anyone looking to live in Dothan, Alabama!
