Dorr has been my home ever since I was a little girl, I've seen many years go by and with that many improvements to Dorr that make it a better place for everyone. The park has a new memorial which helps families feel included and gives them a place to pay respects. Dicks Food Market has integrated many healthy food choices and has a small organics section! The traffic light has made the center much more efficient, the days of the busy crowded 4 way stop are over. Although these are small changes they have made my home better, not just for me but for the community as a whole.

Dorr Township is a small, friendly, and welcoming community. The township supports local businesses, is considerate of the residents, and provides family-friendly events to participate in throughout the summer and rest of the year. The township offers three gas stations, three playgrounds, a memorial site for those who have served in the military, many restaurants and local businesses. Everything here is well-maintained, from the streets to the landscaping and buildings. Overall I would consider Dorr Township a nice and safe place to grow up at.
This is a fantastic farm community, but many family friendly neighborhoods and sub division. We are close to downtown Holland and Grand Rapids, many shopping malls, highways, but out enough to enjoy the beautiful scenery and nature.
