      There aren't a lot of retail stores in town. The only one we have is more of a specialty shop and the clothes can be pretty pricy. There's also an outlet store that gets its clothes from the factory in the town. There is a very nice restaurant on main street that has done very well the past couple years. It has recently shut down to move to a bigger building and a Mexican restaurant is coming in to take its space, but both are going to be open soon. Overall, my town is a pretty average small town without too much to offer.

      The factory in town provides most of the job opportunities. It's a clothing factory for Land's End that employs probably a fourth of the population in town. Other than that, most of the other job opportunities are just the standard minimum wage opportunities available anywhere. Some people do drive an hour to get to Madison, where there are a lot of other jobs, but as for my town, it doesn't offer too much.
      One of the things I am proudest of in my town is our food. Our newest restaurant has been a hit with not only the local community, but also with travelers who enjoy the unique, rich flavors at modest prices. The only bad part about our restaurants is that there is a long wait, but the new remodeling is working to add more space.
