Dodgeville is a wonderful small town filled with friendly people. It is a very safe area with small amounts of crime and a tight community that looks out for one another. The people are welcoming of newcomers and the schools are very educational and safe. The public schools are filled with kind and knowledgeable teachers and staff. The schools and town itself welcome feedback and are constantly working to improve as shown by the community meetings this past summer and the "Safety Circles" implementation in the schools.
This town is very promising with plenty of job opportunities and friendly environment! The roads stay cleared in snow storms. Local hospital for emergencies.
I love living in the small town of Dodgeville. I know almost everybody in town, and I see many people I know when I go out in public. The downside of this is that people who have just moved to Dodgeville often feel that they are on the outside, due to Dodgeville's tendency towards cliques. I would like to see Dodgeville become more welcoming towards newcomers and open to new ideas.
