I have enjoyed living here, but there isn't much in retail or options for shopping! There used to be many options to shop local, but many of them have since folded down, and unfortunately nothing has replaced many of these neat places.

I have yet to meet a rude person here, and I love the new water park! Lots of things to do here and many places to eat. Lots of history downtown. Best rodeo ever!
This is a small safe town with a low crime rate. Living costs are average and rent is very affordable. There are two Meat packing plants that help stimulate the economy and provide jobs for just about everyone. There are no major activities you can do here and the roads are bumpy with a lot of up hills and down hills. It is extremely windy and we do get snow at least once a year. Tornado activity around southwest Kansas is relatively high and can be frightening. There are little to no activities for adults or children to attend making dodge city very boring. There are no brand name shopping stores and the mall is small.
