This community is beautiful. I live near a farm so it is wonderful to see the animals when I drive by. The city has many markets and public outdoor areas to embrace its beautiful nature. It is near a lot of conveniant facilities such as grocery stores and department stores and restaurants as well.
Great small community. Good schools. Low crime. Peaceful. Lots of farming so there is great small local shops to support.
I love Dighton because it is a small quiet town of mostly genuine and nice people. Most people are neighborly and helpful.
I love how Dighton has worked hard to maintain its rural character, yet efforts have also been made to modernize in terms of energy usage. Dighton just became a "Right to Farm" community and they are trying to become a "Green Community" in order to receive federal and state grants for being eco-friendly. One downside is they have recently been allowing too many developments to be built, which has burdened the school system and resulted in the taxpayers having to pay for pods to accommodate the large number of students.
Everyone is friendly, the school system is great! I feel safe. There is rarely any violence in the area. Family oriented, a great place to raise a family. Growing community.
Dighton is a very small, farming community located outside of Taunton and Somerset. Dighton is located 45 minutes southeast of Boston.
There is virtually no crime and everyone knows everyone.
It's a very rural town. Nice for walking and biking on the roads.
I do not know of any crime or lack of safety the public feels.
beautiful houses and big yards, no vacant houses
This is a great place to live
the crime in this are is very minimal.
this is an area that will never have business in the neighborhoods, it is rural and will remain this way.
Great for new families and raising kids.
