To me Deposit has always been an average small town to live in. I have lived all my life there, and i would love to see a lot of change. The biggest thing i would change, would be that there is nothing to do in the small town, so i would like them to add a few different things. For one, we need to have something for young kids to do, instead of them going out and getting in trouble most of the time. There are a lot of kids now a days, who would rather sit home and do nothing, instead of getting out and enjoying the nice sunshine, and weather. That is my take on the town that i live in.
My entire life I have grown up in a small, quaint town known as Deposit. This small town being located in upstate New York has shaped me to be the person I am today. Its changed me to become a person who truly cares about the well being of others. This is due to the lack of resources, and the inability of some to find affordable groceries to eat. There was only a single small grocery store to choose from, and as it was the only one their prices were insanely high. Due to this being such a challenge I volunteered every year to raise money for the Salvation Army to feed families in need. My family and I would also help families with their groceries when they couldn't walk to another grocery store since it was 30 miles away. It was an honor to help but I know how difficult it was for some families.
I live in deposit for 2 years now I feel like it's a fit St Joseph Roman catholic church is a great community we sit together after church for coffee and cake During Corona the local grocery n pizzeria were caring providing help to residents If your looking for small town with great people live here
