Morris Knolls High School is located in Denville. Rockaway Township, Denville and Wharton children attend the school. It offers a diverse array of sports, clubs, after school activities. There is something for everyone. Main Street is a great place to hang out and stroll down. You can eat at small restaurants, go shopping in boutiques, stop in by Denville Dairy for an ice cream treat, grab a slice of pizza or a cup of coffee from Starbuck's or just go for a walk down Main. There is soft music playing in the background. Denville Township is highly recognized as a great location to raise a family due to comfortable area with lots to do. The abundance of activities and events label this township as family oriented. There are many lakes, playgrounds, and schools that help prepare future generations for success. In addition, the township is well maintained and always kept fairly clean. During the holiday season, the streets are full of lights and endless memories for residents and visitors to make. The only drawback of this community is the expensive cost. Many families have moved from this township after their children have gone onto college due to their inability to afford the expensive costs. There is also a lack of diversity within this community, mainly only Caucasians. Overall, the experience one will have while living in Denville Township is positive due to the family oriented atmosphere.
Denville Township is a wonderful, caring community. We are lucky to have an amazing downtown filled with shops and eateries. Residents support each other, the community, and the businesses. There are many activities for young and old alike; whether a parade, trips, a duck race, a polar plunge, fundraising, a farmer market, a harvest festival, etc. We have easy access to most major highways and a train station for easy commutes wherever you are going. In truth, we have it all!
