Denver may be described as an upcoming suburb style town situated on the west side of Lake Norman and less than 30 minutes from Charlotte, an hour from the mountains, and 3 hours from the beach. You could say it's a great example of the American melting pot with so much diversity in cultures from old southern farmers to Floridian lake-lovers to genuine Nicaraguan baristas to Indian communities.
As far as Christian churches go, there tends to be an unfortunate, yet drastic swing in personalities and convictions, that is, you will mostly find either very loose, weak-minded, or shallow churches or strict, traditionalist, and legalistic hill-billy churches. I suppose this is the one segment Denver really performs poorly in. So much so that many people I know drive more than an hour to go to a well-balanced, genuine church.
Overall, Denver is amazing! It just needs some sincere church planters and/or great awakenings.

Denver is a peaceful small town where you have everything you need. There are choices for grocery shopping, restaurants, housing, schooling, and so much more! We are generally a very kind community with houses of all kinds for people in varying situations. There aren’t many attractions here for tourists but Denver is a great place to settle down and enjoy calm, rural days. The population here is predominantly republican, Caucasian, and “country-like.” You can run into people nearly everywhere! Denver is also home to a great deal of fast food options such as McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy’s, Chick fil a, Arby’s, Dairy Queen, Pizza Hut, and so much more. Denver doesn’t have any big shopping malls for clothing but we’re close to a few great places such as Birkdale, Charlotte Premium Outlets, and Northlake Mall.
Denver is a small town on the east side of Lake Norman that’s growing quickly. It's set away from large cities, allowing for a calmer lifestyle but larger cities can be reached in a 20-30 minute drive. Most people drive cars because there are no busses and or bike paths. The schools are excellent, one of the high schools, North Lincoln High, is in the top 30 most academically competitive in the state. Many people who own boats spend time out on the lake with family, swimming, and fishing. Denver is an excellent town for families but does not offer many corporate jobs most businesses are restaurants and small businesses. The town gets quiet after dark and there is no nightlife making it not ideal for single, young adults. The largest downside is currently road infrastructure. Two-lane roads make up most of Denver, as neighborhoods are built and the population increases there are more cars on the road. Construction on sections of the road in order to build new houses increases traffic.
