Denver is a growing community with great potential. I went to high school here and lived with my father in a neighborhood located just across the street from the school. In my opinion, this area appeals to young families looking to find a suburban home to settle in. There are public schools conveniently located for students of all ages and several different options for eating out. The kids are able to grow up together within a small community. In regards to improvement, I personally believe the public school system particularly, East Lincoln High school, need to make some changes for the better. Both my sister and brother went there and it seems they received less quality of an education than I did attending Lincoln Charter. It appears as though the teachers there lack the passion necessary to inspire and motivate young learners. If you are not in AP or honors classes, you tend to be overlooked or underestimated.
