Deerfield Beach is a great place in which to grow up. Deerfield has many parks, beaches, and social activities in the community. The cost of living is more reasonable than some surrounding cities without giving up safety and amenities like parking on the public beach. Deerfield is concerned with the environment and practices recycling. The city provides beautification grants for its citizens and businesses and keeps the public areas clean and inviting. Although Deerfield has some excellent public schools, some need improvement to their curriculm, staff and physical plant.

I am a current resident of Deerfield Beach, been living here for 22years now, and I can honestly say the neighborhood isn't that bad as it may seem to others. Things have definitely lightened up then compared to the past. I have grew up here and will be raising my kids here as well, such development has been made in this community and I'm appalled! Keep it it up Deerfield Beach, love you! & oh don't forget our beach whewww!
Deerfield Beach is a very friendly city and it is family oriented. I would give back to the city of Deerfield Beach, Florida. This is where I grew up and I can truly say that I love my city. The residents of Deerfield Beach care about their environment and they are friendly in general. I would donate to the homeless shelters that are in the city of Pompano Beach, which is a city right next to Deerfield Beach. There are a lot of homeless shelters in Pompano Beach and sometimes I see people that are my age in the mix of the others. That touches my heart. I would donate clothing, food, other necessities, and even provide vacations for those who want to see the outside world.
