In Deer Park, there are many wonderful aspects of life. Many houses are next to each other that are filled with kind and outgoing neighbors. There are parks to bring your kids to play. There are restaurants on every corner filled with culturally based foods. From Italian meals to Chinese to African all the way to Hispanic foods. In Deer Park,there are many fast food restaurants to drive to whenever you are feeling hungry! There is a mall called Tanger Outlets where many people go to. IT is outdoors and filled with happiness and friendly faces everywhere you turn!
Living in Deer Park for the past 10 years has been very pleasurable for me. Deer Park is known to be a safe environment with kind and diverse folks from different backgrounds. Living in a fairly diverse town, I have been able to learn about different cultures and customs. Since people in Deer Park are very close and friendly, we are able to coexist with each other despite our differences, and that is a major factor that truly determined my thoughts about Deer Park. Not to mention, my school district is also a safe and great learning environment also. It is evident that the people at the school board are passionate and dedicated to the education and safety of its students. For example, they promote a variety of community service and extra-curricular activities to ensure its students are active and responsible members of Deer Park. Students taking on these endeavors, adds to Deer Parks pleasurable and friendly environment.
Deer Park Ave. has pretty much everything you could possibly need, from supermarkets to fast food, to Michael's Craft Store, and gas stations, making it extremely convenient. However, the town is not that walkable. Some neighborhoods within Deer Park are far safer and nice than others, same goes for the public schools. The elementary schools are excellent, the intermediate and middle schools are poor, the high school is about average.
