It's a wonderful little town with tons of shops and restaurants. Everything is lovely here! The people are friendly and the environment is healthy and invigorating.
Very safe, but the people can be very judgemental. The perfect place to raise kids as the school is incredible and the town is virtually crimeless. But not a place where you will find entertainment for young people.
Decorah is a safe place. Even once you set off on your new journey, there will always be a place for you in Decorah. Decorah supports the LGTBQ+ community and allows students of the age of 14+ to be able to apply for jobs. The schools in Decorah are nice and clean but the staff tends to not fully deal with bullying as their motto says in the lower levels.
