I've moved to Decatur Township a year ago, this December will be two years living in Decatur. Its very calm, its also very helpful living close to a grocery Walmart. The only thing that's frustrating is not having enough traffic lights, and having more four way stop signs which makes rush hour go by slow. I would like to see more traffic lights around instead of a four way stop signs to make traffic go by quicker.

I have lived in Decatur township my entire life. The schools have been great for myself as well as my children. We enjoy the many parks that have recently been updated here in Decatur. Very family friendly area, lots of new shopping and restaurants added over the last several years.
Decatur Township will always have a special place in my heart. The best way that I could describe it would be, "a little rough around the edges, but if you find the right neighborhood, it'll be a nice place to raise a family". I know I loved growing up there.
