It's a moderately sized town located just beneath Green Bay with a lot of character. I like that the river bisects the town, allowing for parks and trails to be created along the river. It's a beautiful space without the feel of a crowded city. Art murals can be found all over the place, mostly by the river. Most of the buildings in the downtown areas are old, but that just adds to the rustic feel even if I sometimes wish they were modernized. I like the little bakeries and shops that are on the bottom floors of each of the buildings. It would take me a whole day to see them all. The summers are warm, not too hot, but the winters are sometimes extremely cold, but with a lot of snow on the ground, the ground sparkles during the day and night.

I moved to De Pere for my current job position, and I have been very pleased with the city. It is conveniently located between city and country, so it is an appropriate place to live for many people. You can get to a variety of places such as restaurants, grocery stores, businesses, and more, within a quick five minute drive. The people are nice, and it is overall a great place to be!
Small town living with enough to offer for activities and necessities. Great schools in West De Pere and great neighbors. Safe community to raise children in. It is a growing area south of Green Bay. Everything is about 15 minute drive around the area to get to. Local restaurants, shopping, gas stations and more are growing and being added regularly.
