I moved to De Pere for my current job position, and I have been very pleased with the city. It is conveniently located between city and country, so it is an appropriate place to live for many people. You can get to a variety of places such as restaurants, grocery stores, businesses, and more, within a quick five minute drive. The people are nice, and it is overall a great place to be!

I love this city because it is very well taken care of and it has a great sense of community. I wouldn't want to live in any of the nearby places that I have driven through. There are always events and programs going on that you can participate in the community center or in the parks. The Fox River runs through the middle of the city and there is a beautiful trail that runs by it. It is a great city to get out in nature and also be close to everything that you would need, as far as stores are concerned. It's a great place for families.
I do not have to much time living here. I was displaced by hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico and as soon as I came I received a warm treatment, understanding and the kindness of a lot of people. I came with my daughter who was abused and she have been receiving all the psychological help she needed and the legal and protection services I needed for her inmediately.
