I love the more rural setting that is still only 30 minutes to downtown Minneapolis! It is a great place to raise children with good schools, plenty of parks and trails, and easy access to the Mississippi River and local lakes.

Dayton has an amazing enviornment, lots of nice people and amazing homes and ranches all around. The new devolpments began to take away from the greatness however its still a nice city
There are a few popular stores in the area including the gas station, bar and golf courses. The gas station is convenient and small which gives it a small town feel. The bar is remodeled and looks very appealing while driving by it's just a small place to get together with a few of the town locals and kick back and enjoy each others company. The golf courses are great! People drive from far away to golf with their friends that live near by. The golf courses ground crew keeps the courses looking nice and after a round of golf people can come inside for a bite to eat or a drink. They also have other indoor sports for the winter. There is a family owned restaurant that has some of the best reviews of any restaurant out there. Great food and a cozy environment. Perfect for a small town.
