I recently moved here, from Chicago, to attend Nova Southeastern University and I can honestly say that I love the area. The people here are extremely friendly and super approachable. Although the area always has some type of construction happening, its a relatively clean city. The biggest issue I have with the city is the price. It is fairly expensive around this area. But, the good definitely outweighs the bad. Of course the weather doesn’t hurt either! I look forward to spending the next couple of years in Davie in my ultimate goal of becoming an Optometrist.

Davie is my favorite town in all of Florida! There's always events going on. Whatever you need can be found in here. It's close to the beach. The people are very friendly. The community is very diverse. There are lots of shops. Many schools, parks, fishing spots. It is where I go to university and I can tell you I would not want to be in any other place, except maybe Key West. If you live here consider yourself lucky. If you don't then plan a trip here sometime. You won't regret it!
The Town of Davie is a family oriented town. It provides lots of family oriented activities throughout the year. It has wonderful parks, lots of green areas, and is culturally diverse. It keeps is cowboy themed charm with rodeos and the infamous annual Orange Blossom Parade. Lots of recreational activities as far as team sports from ages 3 on up for the kids. It also has grown as far as a college town with Broward College, NovaSoutheastern University, and McFatter Technical College (and High School). Davie is a beautiful place to live that's close to Fort Lauderdale and Miami.
