Davie is a very interesting place to live in! It is very diverse and has a lot to offer. Such as local universities like Nova Southeastern University, Broward College, and even an extension site of the University of Florida. But another thing that Davie has to offer is its rural farmland type feel, but also it's suburban-type feel. And not only is it diverse in the way it looks but there's all different types of people in Davie though the majority of people are white the other half is made up of Hispanics and African Americans. And these are just some of the reasons I love living in Davie.

I recently moved here, from Chicago, to attend Nova Southeastern University and I can honestly say that I love the area. The people here are extremely friendly and super approachable. Although the area always has some type of construction happening, its a relatively clean city. The biggest issue I have with the city is the price. It is fairly expensive around this area. But, the good definitely outweighs the bad. Of course the weather doesn’t hurt either! I look forward to spending the next couple of years in Davie in my ultimate goal of becoming an Optometrist.
Davie is my favorite town in all of Florida! There's always events going on. Whatever you need can be found in here. It's close to the beach. The people are very friendly. The community is very diverse. There are lots of shops. Many schools, parks, fishing spots. It is where I go to university and I can tell you I would not want to be in any other place, except maybe Key West. If you live here consider yourself lucky. If you don't then plan a trip here sometime. You won't regret it!
