Davenport is a town full of character that has everything you could ever need. My favorite part of Davenport is the downtown area with many family owned stores and restaurants with a beautiful view of the Mississippi River. There are also different festivals throughout the entire year, it is definitely worth checking out!
Review Davenport
I love living in Davenport because it has lots of things to offer. It has many parks, many recreation events for kids, several museums, and a cool downtown area. Iowa is great because you get to witness all four seasons every year! Not all states can say that!
Davenport is a diverse community and because of that you can learn a lot about life from others.
I moved to Davenport about a year ago. What I enjoy about Davenport is the wide array of activities that are available to everyone. We have different museums that focus on children and families. Davenport has many different festivals and venues that are targeted at night life as well. We aren't far from different universities, like St. Ambrose and Augustana. We have two different community colleges as well. What I dislike about Davenport is that there is a high crime rate with shootings almost every day, as well as a current trend of vehicle thefts. The police do what they can, but their resources are short.
