Davenport is a town full of character that has everything you could ever need. My favorite part of Davenport is the downtown area with many family owned stores and restaurants with a beautiful view of the Mississippi River. There are also different festivals throughout the entire year, it is definitely worth checking out!
Review Your Area
Davenport has a vast major of different cultures, religion, and many local schools. Some new shopping areas and fast food/restaurants. There is also the Putnam and the Figgie Museum. Multiple different parks to and recreational areas all around Davenport. There is also vast opportunities to find different job experiences.
It has been a great apartment for me. The rent is acceptable and this place is really close to the school campus which only takes 4 minutes walk. The atmosphere in the house is alright, the tenants are very friendly, but the neighbor hood is a concern some time. If I can choose where I can leave, I would not live here. I am an international student from Hong Kong, and it's a big difference comparing here in Iowa. The reason I like Hong Kong more is that it's very convenient, in Iowa you have to have a car to go somewhere else.
