Davenport Reviews

I liked the peacefulness of the community, but the lack of technological advancements and slow process of gentrification is somewhat unbecoming. On the plus side though, the wildlife community in Davenport is thriving, as well as interpersonal relationships among the tight knit community.

Growing up in Davenport is an experience that I would not change. Going to a small school is a blessing. I had the opportunity to participate in any club or activity I wanted to. I know everyone that goes to my school. My town is small so I live very close to my school. I could run or bike to school everyday if I wanted to, considering I live a mile away. The gas station is right next to my school so we can walk and get lunch there everyday. Everyone is involved so you always see familiar faces. Living in such a small community brings everyone together.
It's a small small town, very friendly people. It's pretty clean and the sports teams playing are the highlight of friday nights. It's close to Oneonta which has tons of nightlife things to do. It's a family town and the clubs at the school always have things to do on weekends with th community.
