I like the fact that Darien is, for the most part, a nice small town but also very close to two much larger towns on either side of it which makes it very easy to be able to have a good time and explore new things. It is also very close to New York City which is very convenient because it allows for many internships, work, or schooling opportunities. What Darien lacks in though, is diversity, and inclusivity, which are two things the town could improve on.
Even though the community isn't very diverse, there are a lot of great opportunities to find there. The people are generally very nice, the school system is very well acclaimed, and having access to the beaches is a fantastic plus. The biggest downside would be the prices of housing and prices in general, but that's the case in the majority of Fairfield County.
