Being a native Floridian, born in Broward County and now a senior citizen/retiree, I can say Dania Beach is a gorgeous place. A brand new shopping plaza, Dania Pointe, has a variety of Fine Dining to Casual Fare and loaded with stores to get your shop on!!! Dania Beach is flanked by Ft. Lauderdale Beach to the North, Davie and Pembroke Pines to the West and Hollywood Beach, Miami Beach and South Beach to the South. What Fabulous sister cities, indeed!!

You'll not want for anything in Dania Beach.

I live in Dania Beach at the moment and I love it! It's small, quite and you are near the beach, while being close to the Fort Lauderdale Airport and also Fort Lauderdale area. If you want to spend the day in downtown Miami, it is about a 30-40 min drive. We have lovely beaches and we have historic areas too. It's a great area to live and have fun in!
I am an active member of the community. I volunteer for thanksgiving food drives and book bag giveaways. My community is full of families where everyone knows everyone it’s a friendly neighborhood. What I would like to change about my community is more activities for teens. I would like to see more workforce programs and leadership programs for young adults like myself to help us prepare for the real world.
