Dandridge is a sweet, historical city. I have always lived in Dandridge and I am not planning on leaving my home town any time soon... if ever! To me, Dandridge has it all. In the summer, I enjoy going out on the lake with my friends and family, and living in Dandridge allows me easy access to this. In the winter, I am a snowboarder and living in Dandridge I am close to the mountains where I can do this. Dandridge is perfectly located to where you are not too far from everything! In 30 minutes I can be in Knoxville without the hassle of the non-stop traffic. The same goes for Sevierville! I absolutely love my home in Dandridge and I will stay as long it will have me!
Overall Dandridge is a nice place to live. It is more a retirement town. The majority of the population, I would say, is older. This causes a slight problem with it being a very conservative. The schools are great, though. As someone who has gone 1st to graduating here, it is a real great district.
Sweet little town. Great place to run on the side walk and still feels very rural. Yet, it is close to Sevierville, Knoxville, Chattanooga, and Asheville.
