It's a dream to live in Dana Point. I've lived here most of my life. It has quite a laid-back vibe like San Clemente and Laguna Beach. There are endless opportunities when it comes to figuring what to do. We have 28 parks and amazing restaurants. Although Dana point residents are usually upper-middle class or higher class, the public schools aren't amazing. Dana Hills has a 64% proficiency. 689 students enrolled in AP courses, 323 fail the test. That's 46% of students. A lot of my friends were bullied and the school did nothing proactive to change the issue.

The beauty of the beaches and harbor are breathtaking. Great restaurants too. I love the friendliness of the community also.
Definitely a place to visit or live in Southern California!
Beautiful City! Nice beach town with lot of local venues for dining. Great community events. Schools are good, nothing above average. Very family friendly city with parks and beaches within a short distance from anywhere in the city. I have never felt unsafe in our city. The weather is always perfect!! On the not so perfect side of things, real estate is very expensive and there is not a ton of diversity. Largely caucasian and hispanic.
