Dalworthington Gardens is a nearby mini-city to Arlington, where I live. I frequently pass by and I can tell you that it has great residential areas as well as a lot of businesses. It is a safe and family-friendly place to be and reside.
Nice, quiet little town. Don't know much about the schooling as I go to school in Arlington but I do know that Dalworthington Gardens is a nice town. While there isn't too much to do there, there is a nice park and it is a short commute to Arlington as Arlington surrounds it and since Arlington is in the middle of the metroplex, it is a convenient place to live. The downside is there is very little diversity, at least in my neighborhood; nearly all white people.
Arlington is in my opinion the best place to live. I've lived on almost all sides from El Paso, Lubbock, Houston, and of course the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Arlington is more of a residential city right between Fort Worth and Dallas. There are amusement parks including Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor. There are also the AT&T stadium and Globe Life Park. I feel that the community is brought together and is family friendly. There is always something to do and always something to eat. By far Arlington is the best place I have lived and no matter where life takes me I will always end up back here. I have also lived in Illinois and Tennessee the two are very different atmospheres than Texas'. Being Latina I have always grown up with racism being an issue, which in Tennessee was a major issue. The landscape in the other two states have mountains and valley ,which can add a lot to the gas bill. Where in Arlington, Texas the landscape is somewhat almost flat. This area is perfect, this area is home.
