Dakota Dunes Reviews
Dakota Dunes is a great place to live, friendly neighbors, good property values, safe for our kids, nice parks, and low crime rates! Close to metro area, but far enough away to feel like a small town.
Dakota Dunes is a great place to live, if you're well-off, and want to be around other people who are white and well-off. There is very little crime, lots of friendly and outgoing people, and a strong sense of community. Overall it is lacking in diversity, both racially and financially. The local public school is pretty good, but not the best. Overall, the close-knit community makes it a pretty solid place to reside.
This is a quiet little golfing community. Great place to raise children. It is an affluent community, we have private security which is fantastic. It is always growing. The down side is we don't have grocery stores, shopping etc however it's all within 5-10 miles of Sioux City, IA. It was built around a golf course designed by Arnold Palmer and is next to the Missouri River. Strict HOA however I don't mind that at all, I don't have to look at a toilet in a yard or unkept homes. Very friendly neighborhoods, kid friendly neighborhoods. Everyone really watches out for each others children. We have a magazine for the community that centers around families, businesses, sports, what is going on in the community. It's great to read monthly.
