Dade City is gorgeous. It’s nothing big, but the culture is worth more than anything you could ever imagine. Never have I seen a town so diverse and caring! Your voice really matters here. There are community events several times a month, it really makes us come together as a whole!

Located off of exits 285 and 293 on I75. Every year the city hosts the Kumquat festival, attracting thousands of people. Every first Saturday of the month, the city has a car show. The old court house stands proudly in the middle of the city while the old orange juice plant lies on the northern region. Hancock Groves on Blanton Road grows several different crops including oranges, peaches, and strawberries. This place is a popular attraction in which visitors can pick the oranges off of the tree themselves when the crop is in season. South of Dade City is Zephyrhills. The small town of Saint Leo sits to the west of Dade City and is home to Saint Leo University. San Antonio is immediately west of Saint Leo. One of San Antonio's biggest events is the Rattlesnake festival in October. This event is free to the public though attractions may cost money. In the heart of Dade City, Cafe Kokopelli is the location of a former Ford dealer. Also in the heart of Dade City is the Hardy Trail.
In Dade City you have a mix of a mostly rural lifestyle with all of the necessities being a short drive away. I live on a very quiet road but I am five minutes from the highway. If I need to grocery shop, there is a Winn Dixie five minutes away. Want to go to a fancy dinner? Drive ten minutes up the road. I wish there was less development.
