I live here and I would say the everybody knows everybody. The school is very tight knit and so is everybody and we had a lot of things to do and are closely neighbored by bigger cuties like North Platte and McCook so we can get our stuff easily if we don’t already have it at the grocery store.
I love the small town atmosphere. I attend college at Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture here and I really love it. When I started school here in 2014 I was worried moving away from home back in eastern Nebraska, but I'm glad I made the decision I did. Coming to a small school like NCTA made me feel at home, since the classes are smaller we all get more one on one time with the teachers. I really enjoy the hands on experience I get here, unlike most colleges. Everyone in the town is always happy to lend an extra hand with anything which pulls this wonderful small town together.
It is a very nice town, that is not to big or to small. It has a movie theatre, steakhouse, cafe, grocery store, gas station, pool, high School, and it is where the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture is located.
