Cupertino is very popular for being a technology orientated community that is full of diversity. Cupertino is quite an expensive place to live but the benefits are that of having many job opportunities and excellent schools. An important part of the diversity is that Cupertino is mostly known for those of Asian background coming from places such as China, Korea, Japan, and India. Therefore there are heavy influences on the food, the culture, and the behavior of the city. MOstly importantly education is taking very seriously. A typical student should have a 4.0 GPA or higher, play a sport, an instrument, and participate in clubs afterschool activities and volunteering opportunities. Although Cupertino is a fast paced high demanding place there are many benefits to living here.

Cupertino is by no means an idealistic city but what it has managed to offer me is what makes it such a special place. First off, if your yearly salary is not over 150k, good luck affording to reside in Cupertino. With median house prices soaring near 2 million (100% increase in the past 15 years) and the market only increasing, Cupertino seems to have been reserved for the wealthy. Besides that, the city offers some of the top 20 best school systems in America with a number of high schools consistently receiving top honors and producing students that accomplish great things in the world. One would be surprised to find out that schools aren't the main draw to Cupertino; it's Apple. The supercompany owns more than 50% of all office buildings in Cupertino, and with their new headquarters, that number has increased. Overall, if you can deal with the occasional snobby rich person and expensive housing prices, Cupertino is an exceptional city.
I love how safe Cupertino is; there's relatively few crimes, and the schools are generally quite safe. There are hundreds of startups in Cupertino and in cities around Cupertino (San Jose, Santa Clara, etc.), so there are plenty of internship or job opportunities, especially in the technology sector. There's always plenty to do or get involved in: there are restaurants of every type of cuisine, dance studios, gyms, shopping malls, and so much more, all within the city bounds. The schools are pretty good, as well. Though they tend to be very tough and have a "pressure cooker" reputation, they help build character and teach you what hard work is.
