I love cumming, ga unfortunately the city has been over run with Fulton county transplants. I cant understand it, they move up here from the likes of Alparetta, and they try to change our town into the place they moved FROM. The city in 1998 was amazing, but now the mayor and his minions only care about MONEY.
We moved away from those kind of people, and in turn they have moved up here, and ruined our town. If yoy live in Fulton county Alparetta, Johns Creek area, PLEASE STAY THERE!
We do not need you to turn our town into another Fulton county!

I moved to Cumming all the way from Illinois, and I can personally say this city holds much more excitement and liveliness than I first anticipated. It's close proximity to Atlanta calls for summers full of fun trips downtown. Various different restaurants (and even a suspected movie theater) are currently being built. The Collections (an area full of restaurants, clothing stores, and a movie theater) is a go-to place for Cumming residents, and never seems to get boring. Most homes in this area are very affordable, and countless job opportunities are offered to people as young as 14 years old. School systems are filled with diverse, intelligent and highly competitive students. The only downside I see at the moment is the commute time, which tends to be very long for a majority of the people I know. Apart from this, Cumming is what I'm extremely proud to call my home.
I have lived in Cumming, GA for about a year now and the whole community has always been so friendly and welcoming. The residents of Cumming have true Southern hospitality. When I moved from Washington State to Georgia I was really nervous with how easily i would be adjusted. my school has been so helpful and sweet with this new journey in Cumming!
