I grew up in Cumberland, going to the public schools there. The town itself is a nice place to grow up in, with lots of safe neighborhoods and places to run around. For older kids, or adults, the town can be a bit sleepy though. We always went to neighboring towns to go to farmers markets, the movies, or a concert. I think that creating more events and activities for the community to engage in would be great.

The area is quiet and quaint. Everyone is friendly, and the small city not too far from here is a wonderful place to meet all sorts of people. The overall atmosphere is extremely relaxed. However, because the area is not very fast paced, one could get bored of the environment, unless you are really into hiking, camping, etc. The outdoor activities around here are limitless. Even though I like Maine I do wish I lived in a big city because that fits my personality more. still, Maine is a great place to get away and enjoy nature.
It's a great place to go to school, and it's very nice area to live in. However it is pretty inconvenient because there' s nothing really to do other than go to school and run, unless you have a car.
