Cullowhee Reviews
Rating 3.9 out of 5 21 reviews
Its a small rural community built around the Western Carolina University campus. Dotted with apartments for the students and a few businesses such as a gas station, small restaurants, an instrument shop, and a laundry mat.
I currently live in Cullowhee to attend college. It is somewhat difficult to find work in the area and most people I know have to commute at least 30 minutes. The area is safe and as a woman, I feel comfortable leaving the house at night which is great. The area does offer nice places to hike, bike ride, and walk.
Cullowhee is a beautiful area and the people are amazing. There's some great mom and pop places to eat, but also the area is well over do for more diverse restaurant options.
