I love the easy access to the lake, 794 (easy to bypass traffic this way), and tons of good restaurants and shopping! It's a very walkable area with sideways everywhere too. Rent can be pricey in the newer apartments, but everything else in the area is very affordable. Very safe too- I never feel unsafe walking or running the area.

Cudahy is continually growing. As I see more developments, I see roads getting repaired. Watching the city adapt to the growth accordingly sparks optimism! I do wish more citizens saw it this way, though. Too often do I hear negativity from people who just don't like change.
I'm only giving it 3 stars because I feel safe in this area, always police hiding somewhere, but as in things to do, u have the park or a bar. There is really nothing to do here or places to go, even for food. There are very few restaurants, which most I would never go to again. No stores, including a food store. People are hit or miss also. It's right off the lake so that's very nice, and safe, only reasons I stay here, also a downfall tho due to a lot of mold and bugs. It would be a lot nicer with places to shop, things to do, better schools, snow removal, fix pot holes, spring garbage removal, and with the taxes being so high you would think we had all this already
