There are the normal fast food companies, however for bars, and night life, there is not much that is worth going out to.

Many of the "local businesses" in the area are more expensive. They are friendly, but I will drive further to get a cheap price instead of paying 4 dollars for a gallon of milk that is right down the road vs 8 miles to the nearest Wal-Mart to get a gallon of milk for $2.50. The restaurants are very good, however I don't eat out much due to the expense.
I live in a more rural area and I have been looking for employment since September 2014. I have had 2 interviews in that time and have yet to obtain an offer.
