Crown Point Reviews
Crown Point is such a charming town! Located in Northwest Indiana, it means we are about an hour drive from Chicago and the beaches of Lake Michigan. The downtown area, also known as "the square" is filled with restaurants, coffee shops, antique shops, and other businesses and boutiques. We recently just finished constructing an ice skating rink downtown too! Crown Point is booming, which means there are always new businesses opening which provides many job opportunities for people. Public schooling is some of the best around here in Crown Point. Crown Point is a darling and welcoming town that is filled with things to do during the warm summers and chilly winters.
I was born and raised in Crown Point and always thought it was considered a boring Indiana suburb. Once I got older, I really learned to appreciate that old, small town vibe that it gave off. There are plenty of coffee shops to go to and study, antique stores, and a vast majority of restaurants to choose from. What I enjoy the most is the small businesses that we have. It really shows the heart and soul of Crown Point and represents the 219 in the best way possible. Crown Point is also under a lot of renovation so plenty of more fun things are going to be popping up soon! You'll definitely feel the small town hospitality when you get there mixed with with current culture and trends. I wouldn't want to be living anywhere else.
I have grown up in Crown Point. I have attended schools and used community resources throughout my growing up here. I love the city I am from! There is so much Crown Point has to offer from the historic aspect to the new and continued town development; there is something for everyone of all ages. Community resources including recreation are abundant. You will always find something to do and be involved in!
