I love the public school system here in Crestwood. I have never had a problem and enjoy attending school here. It is very family-friendly as most families living here are for the education system. Many kids live in this city making safety a priority. Overall Crestwood is very same with very few run-ins, and if there are it's minor. The commute time is very good the only time it gets bad is when there is an accident on the highway. There are lots of job opportunities for minors at local shops and restaurants, but not necessary for adults looking for office jobs you would have to travel outside of Crestwood for that.
Great schools. Close to cities and culture, but removed enough to keep the small town vibe.
Neighborhoods are peaceful and friendly...although avoid Celebration Park as they can get a bit carried away (if you park wrong, they will complain. Sneeze and everyone knows. And don’t dare have a party unless they are all invited! Too much HOA power for the busybodies).
But a terrific little town for families and amazing schools!

Crestwood is an overall sleepy, yet enthusiastic suburb of Louisville. What began as a place where the old folk would retire to, quickly transitioned to a town where the youth flourish. That has to do with the local school system, Oldham County Schools, which is rated as one of the best schools systems in Kentucky. South Oldham High School provides equal opportunity for every student to succeed not only in school, but in their life beyond education. Crestwood is the epitomie of a quaint, Midwestern suburb and is an extremely enjoyable place to live.
