Great schools. Close to cities and culture, but removed enough to keep the small town vibe.
Neighborhoods are peaceful and friendly...although avoid Celebration Park as they can get a bit carried away (if you park wrong, they will complain. Sneeze and everyone knows. And don’t dare have a party unless they are all invited! Too much HOA power for the busybodies).
But a terrific little town for families and amazing schools!

With small businesses, great surrounding schools and a strong well-knit community, Crestwood is a prime destination for families of all shapes and sizes. I was born and raised in Crestwood and I have attended all 12 years of my schooling in Oldham County Schools here in Crestwood and I believe that the loving and attentive community is the reason for my success. My parents raised me right with good morals and the surrounding community only emphasized those beliefs and I was taken care of by kind and caring educators and role models as I was first exposed to the real world in school and in sports. Crestwood has served as my dwelling place for the first 18 years of my life and it has helped shape me into the fine young man that I am today. With real personalized relationships, beautiful small town scenery, and successful small businesses, there is much to love about Crestwood.
I have lived in Crestwood most of my life and I miss the small town every time I leave. The schools are great. It is a short commute to many shopping centers, movie theaters, and Downtown Louisville. A great place to be!
