I grew up here and graduated high school, had a great childhood. I was involved in all sports while in high school, the community was/is very supportive of all sport programs and academics. We take pride in our town and school, I'm thankful of all opportunities available to me. The thing i would like to see change in Crane is change in general. We are a small town and change is slow around here. I would like to see more youth to be involved with the community, and taking pride in it. I believe it will someday get there. We have begun to see change and see the reviving of involvement within the community.

Crane Texas may be a small town with just one signal light, however the education system and relations are incredible. Everyone is united and there to help when in need. The academic level of the schools is outstanding as well as athletic program.
I'm not sure what the exact crime rate in my town is, but it's so low that it almost feels non-existent. I live in a very small town where the population is somewhere between 3,600-4,000, so we always know when something is going on in town, and since news travels fast around here, people are less likely to commit a crime. I also live across the street from a cop, so I feel very safe at home, and never fear the possibility of an intrusion. In fact, our community feels so safe, that most people don't even bother locking their doors most of the time.
